Lynne Taylor-Corbett is an esteemed director, choreographer, and author committed to serving a lifetime in the arts.

Lynne Taylor-Corbett received Tony nominations for Best Director and Best Choreographer for Broadway’s Swing!. Off-Broadway, she received Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel nominations for My Vaudeville Man and The Callaway Award for Wanda’s World. She choreographed Titanic and Chess on Broadway and long-running Cougar, the Musical and Joanna Rush’s Kick Off-Broadway.

She has choreographed dance works for American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and the New York City Ballet including The Seven Deadly Sins featuring Patti LuPone. Her works have been featured on Live From Lincoln Center and in feature films Footloose, My Blue Heaven, and Bewitched.

Ms. Taylor-Corbett wrote and directed Out of the Shadows, a benefit supporting Meryl Streep’s effort to build a National Women’s History Museum and Darlene Love’s Christmas Special entitled, Love for the Holidays. Distant Thunder, written with son, Shaun Taylor-Corbett, won 10 Broadway World Awards for its premiere in Oklahoma City at First Americans Museum, produced by Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.

She is a member and former vice-president of the Society of Directors and Choreographers and serves on the Council of Advisors for the Association on American Indian Affairs as a non-Native ally along with Gloria Steinem.
